Spendable

Privacy Policy

Spendable is a budgeting app. Your financial data is yours - it is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

What we store

When you sign in with Google we store your Google account identifier and your profile image so we can recognise you on your next visit.

When you connect a bank through Plaid we store the access token for that connection along with the institution, your account names, masked account numbers, balances and types, and the transactions on those accounts - their description, amount, date and whether they are still pending.

Everything else - your budgets, allocations and splits - is created by you inside the app.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the services required to run the app: Google for sign-in, Plaid for bank connections, and our own hosting and error-monitoring infrastructure. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Deleting your data

You can disconnect a bank at any time from the Banks page, which removes the stored access token for that connection. To delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected].
